ROSE TATTOO recently spent time in the studio recording a new album with veteran Australian producer Mark Opitz (INXS, COLD CHISEL, KISS). The first single from the album is "Black Eyed Bruiser", a song written by the band's original production team, Harry Vanda and George Young, who also were AC/DC's producers.
In recent months the band has signed a worldwide recording deal with a German label Armagedon. They were due to start recording in Sydney on May 1 but put back the recording following guitarist Pete Wells' passing until July. The band was very hopeful of having Pete play on this album before he got too ill.
